'Vrouw in het zand' van Hiroshi Teshigahara weer gezien. Nee, niet op het grote doek, maar knus op de bank bij een lieve vriendin, met een portje.

Wonderlijke film, waarin een vrouw de strijd met het zand verliest, maar het gevecht met de man, die haar voor het verkrijgen van zijn eigen vrijheid in het openbaar wil verkrachten, wint.

Zoveel strijd op deze wereld. Zo weinig macht om het te veranderen. Ik verlang naar een geweldloze wereld. 'Utopie' zegt een vriendin, waarmee ik op de middelbare school zat.

Ja?

Stel je voor dat vulkanen zwijgen, moeder aarde stopt met beven, orkanen de ogen sluiten, als de mens het oorlogvoeren staakt? We hebben het nog niet geprobeerd, dus niemand kan zeggen dat zoiets niet bestaat. Ik ben een denkbeeldige reiziger, wees welkom in mijn blijstaat.
